The Teemie Philosophy

Teemie is more than just a tool, as a company we have been built on a philosophy to really improve how managers and staff of non-corporate environments interact with each other, and the effect that this has on a company’s productivity levels.

Our founders worked in coffee shops, grocery stores, toy stores, bars and restaurants between them while studying in college to acquire the skills to be able to build computer software. So our perspective is unique.

Too many businesses in the above industries have not yet begun to utilise technology to help and improve both their efficiency as a company, and provide tools for their staff to be better. It is very simple, happier staff are far more productive. To quote the official research, companies with happy staff, are at least 20% more productive than those who are just labouring through the day. So as a business owner/manager, it is important to be aware of your team’s general happiness levels as it can significantly affect your output numbers.

Just picture a coffee shop with a manager who is poor at communication, where the team has no strategy for integrating new staff members which has a resulting effect on a teams communication and collaboration skills. Do you think they are operating to the best they possibly can?

Awareness of team harmony is a great place to begin. Acquiring the tools to improve this is the next step and that is where Teemie comes in.

It is our mission to build a company that will change how small and medium businesses manage their everyday. To affect a positive change in coffee shops and bars all over the world, both from the perspective of the owners to the staff. To not only improve productivity numbers, but to dramatically improve the mental health and happiness of people working in these environments. Employee experience has been a priority for large tech companies for a number of years now, and the research shows it works, now its time for everybody else.

We want Teemie to be the recognised brand for all staff of non-corporate environments to use, whether you are starting a job at a new coffee shop or achieving sales targets at an electrical store, Teemie will be the tool that companies use to improve the workflow of managers and the harmony of their team.

Who we have helped so far

In addition to providing tools to a range of industries like coffee shops, health clubs and cleaning companies to improve their workflow, Teemie from inception has created the tool with the intent on helping organisations whose mission it is to help others.

A huge passion for us here has always been animal welfare, it is an issue very close to our hearts as our furry friends cannot speak for themselves.

Charity organisations who have teams of volunteers helping them are actually the ideal environment that Teemie as a tool can help. We can provide them with the capability to be more efficient from a managerial perspective, but also for their volunteers to be better at what they do.

What we have always wanted to do is provide Teemie to these organisations for free, for as long as we are in existence. In Ireland we have already committed as such to some animal welfare sanctuaries and they are thrilled.
